In this assignment we used sets of three pictures to create a cohesive collage. I tried my hardest to make sure that each collage flowed together well. Under each collage I described my vision behind the shots and how I tried to make them come together correctly.
In this first photo the middle picture shows a bush and telephone lines from far away. The photos surrounding it on the left and right are close ups of the bush and telephone lines, to help give a sense of perspective.
In this second photo I had two flowerless plants on either side, but in the middle I put flowers.
In this third photo it may just seem like three hands putting up one, two, and three; but I put them at an angle so the first photo stars near the upper left corner and the third photo ends near the lower right corner; this helps draw the eye in a diagonal sort of motion.
In this fourth photo it shows three garbage cans, the first and third photo has the same alignment, blue, green, and then black. To switch it up in the second photo the alignment is blue, white, and then green. This helps change the photo and move the eye around the photo.
For this fifth photo I had the three floors of Drew, allowing you to look down the hallway and see what's going on on each floor - which isn't much. On purpose I edited the photos so that the first floor was darkest, the second floor was lighter, and the third floor was lightest. This helps bring around a sense of lighting and how as the higher you go up in the school it gets brighter and brighter, but the hallways still look rather similar.
For this sixth photo I wanted to make sure that the flowers were against a black background so that the flowers took on an eerie affect and really stood out. The first and third photo had the flowers leaning in from the left, whiles the middle photo had the flowers taking up the whole shot.
Very beautiful images, I love the colors and all the different objects. The flower images are my favorite and I think they are all great.
