The purpose of this assignment was to take photos that focused on the rule of 3rd's. For placement photos I tried to make it clear that 1/3 of the photo was a subject and 2/3 of the photo was the background. For division I tried working with the horizon line and splitting up the photo into 1/3 and 2/3. For combo shots had both placement and division. I think that the photos turned out well and it's pretty clear where the 1/3s are.

ReplyDeleteI like all of your photos. I think one way to make the flow more smoothly is too keep the colors in the same value or scale. Some of your photos are more sepia while others and cooler. Great Job!

ReplyDeleteyou have a lot of photos. I think their great, but having so many makes it hard for me to critique them. I think in the future you should just choose the best ones. But other than that they're really good.
ReplyDeleteI think the main problem with some of these is that the definition wanted with the rule of thirds is not clear enough. I bet using the cropping tool might really enhance a lot of these and allow your wants to be better portrayed in your photos. What I really like is how much you included people in your photos.
